May 18, 2020, Jackson, Wyo. – The Teton County Board of County Commissioners voted today to end public access restrictions at County Buildings as of Tuesday, May 26th with the exception of the Courthouse which will remain locked to public access until June 1st.    Social distancing measures will be in place as buildings reopen and the public is encouraged to continue conducting business via alternate methods whenever possible.

What does this mean for the Environmental Health division?

  • EPA required water samples will be Tested Mondays and Tuesdays. Please leave your sample in the provided cooler by the front door of Health Department Building.
  • Private drinking water samples will be accepted with approval by phone.
  • Please attach payment to the sample bottle along with the sheet correctly filled out.
  • Pool and spa bacteriological samples will not be tested until further notice.
  • Radon test kits will not be sold at this time. Check the tetoncountywy.gov/environmental website for other possible sources.
  • Please call if you require a temporary food service license.
