The current FEMA Flood Hazard Zones and Floodplain boundaries can be viewed on the County GIS page. Please note that floodplain boundaries do not always align correctly with the GIS Aerial Photography Basemaps in some locations, especially with the effective 1989 FIRMs. The Floodplain Administrator or a local Professional (Engineer, Architect, Hydrologist, Surveyor, etc.) may be able to assist you with Floodplain interpretations.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is currently updating all Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Panels and the collateral Flood Insurance Study (FIS) Report for Teton County, Wyoming. At this time, the pending products shall be applied, in-lieu-of the effective products, to all development proposals located in flood prone areas. Please contact the Floodplain Administrator for additional information.
