Phase III of TCJPR Reopening

August 12th, 2020- Jackson, Wyo. - Teton County/ Jackson Parks and Recreation will be entering Phase III of its reopening on Sunday, August 16th, 2020. In this phase we will expand on lap swimming hours and open the therapy pool by reservation.   Below is a list of Phase III accommodations that will be offered at the Recreation Center:

Monday- Friday

6:00 am- 11:00 am Open lap swim

  • 1 person per lane (people from the same household may share a lane)
  • Locker rooms close at 11:15 am

12:15 pm- 2:30 pm Reservation lap swim

  • Times
    • 12:15- 1:15 pm
    • 1:30- 2:30 pm
  • Age 12 and older
  • Only 1 person per lane
  • Therapy pool available by reservation only (one person or family at a time)
  • Steam room, sauna, hot tub closed

Saturday and Sunday

10:00 am-12:00 pm Reservation Lap Swim

1:00-5:00 pm Reservation Family Swim

  • Times
    • 1:00- 2:30
    • 3:30- 5:00
  • Slide will close 15 minutes before the end of the session
  • Locker rooms will close 15 after the end of the session
  • 1 person per lane (people from the same household may share a lane)
  • Steam room, sauna, therapy pool, hot tub closed
  • Personal items stored in cubbies on deck


Monday- Friday: 7:00 am-11:00am & 12:15-2:30 pm

Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am-12:00 pm & 1:00 pm-4:30 pm

2 Same Gender at a Time

All reservations can be made online at . In the case that a timeslot fills, staff will begin a wait list.

Those interested in Open Lap swimming can use their annual pass or punch cards, while reserved lap and family swimming will be charged a single-use fee paid, which will be paid when the reservation is made.

As public health guidelines change, program opportunities will continue to open throughout the summer. Please check the Teton County/Parks and Recreation social media pages and website for up-to-date program offerings. Individuals with specific questions can call Parks and Rec at 307-739-9025 during the modified customer service hours between 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

1 All program, customer service, and aquatic staff shall be monitored for Covid 19 symptoms prior to shift and documented. Supervisor shall maintain the permanent record
2 All staff shall wear protective face covering when in the immediate presence of patrons and coworkers
3 Staff shall enforce 6’ social distancing of unrelated patrons within the recreation center
4 All equipment, mats, and kick boards, etc. shall be cleaned after each use
5 Lockers shall be assigned per patron for resident lap swimmer use. All other lockers shall remain locked. Open Family swim may use locker room for changing, personal items shall be stored in cubbies on deck
6 Public shower use will be allowed with fee M‐F 7:00am to 11:00 and 12:15 to 2:30, and S‐S 10:00am to 12:00 & 1:00- 4:30pm. Maximum two shower patrons per gender at one time unless parent with young children
7 Family locker room and changing rooms shall only be used during open swim times, and thoroughly cleaned in between blocks
8 Each program shall have an approved COVID19 protocol plan. Protocol plans shall be posted at each program site and retained in a permanent file for record
